Venue: Embracing Nature at AELI Hills

The AELI Hills, Aluva provided a beautiful backdrop for this memorable day. With great views of the surrounding area, this eco-friendly getaway offered a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Trees and vibrant flowers created a peaceful atmosphere, creating a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The spacious venue is ideal for group bonding and refreshing activities, making it the perfect choice for the event.

Planning and Engaging Fun Games for Team Building

The Edstem Onam celebration meetup was meticulously planned by HR & Administration team held on August 19, 2023. The team of Edstem was grouped into four teams based on the Onam star, namely Uthradam, Thiruvonam, Avittam, and Chathayam. The event featured a variety of engaging fun games and competitions designed to challenge participant's physical, artistic, and intellectual abilities. All the activities were inspired by Onam cultural traditions, and the teams competed in a spirit of healthy competition.  

Some of the games and competitions that were played included:

• Pookalam making contest unleashes team's creative flair in crafting stunning and beautiful pookalam.

• Strength and unity tested, teams lock horns in intense Tug-of-War Battles to prove their mettle.

• Teams laugh, race, and compete in engaging games of balloons and the hilarious lemon spoon race.

• Edstem new joiners steal the show with a flash mob dance performance and amazing songs, adding a rhythm to the event.

• The Edstem family members enjoyed a day of fun, food, and fellowship. They celebrated Onam in the spirit of joy and togetherness, the thrill of victory and enticing prizes added to the excitement.

An unforgettable dining experience:

The food was a testament to Edstem’s commitment to providing the best possible employee meetup experience. The Onam Sadhya was exceptionally delightful, a feast of flavors and traditions. The array of dishes left us savoring Kerala's culinary richness. The breakfast and dinner buffets were a culinary delight, with a variety of dishes to choose from. The result was a truly memorable dining experience that everyone enjoyed.

Journey from Victory to Glorious Rewards.

The official meeting and prize distribution were moments of elation and recognition. The winners, who had exhibited dedication and hard work, were honored with well-deserved rewards. The Uthradam team's intricate pookalam secured them the first prize, while the Thiruvonam team's colourful design won them the second. The grand championship title, the pinnacle of achievement, was claimed by the Chathayam team, with Thiruvonam securing the runner-up position. Trophies, prizes, gift hampers and gift vouchers were awarded to the winners as symbols of their achievement and perseverance.

Heartfelt Conclusion:

The Onam celebration team meetup was concluded with a friendly, informative, and interactive session led by Jerrish Varghese - CTO & Cofounder, and good interactive session with new and all team members of Edstem technologies. A big shoutout to our incredible young and highly skilled Edstem professional team for making this day so special and memorable.
